This is Caipirinha recipe

Thành viên mới
The caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil. It's the most popular cocktail in the South American country, and everyone has their own way of making it. Today, it is a hit worldwide and should be on every home and pro bartender's essential drink list.

The basic trio of ingredients is the same, with both drinks made with fresh lime, sugar and sugarcane-based spirit. But while the daiquiri uses rum as its base—typically of the light, crisp Cuban style—the caipirinha uses rum's Brazilian relative, cachaça, which has a somewhat more rustic aroma and flavor. And while the daiquiri opts for tarting up the drink using only the juice of the lime, the caipirinha throws the whole shebang into the mix.

Caipirinhas are one of those drinks that are amazingly simple and easy to make, yet many restaurants/bars (outside of Brazil) tend to mess it up. Of course, when a cocktail is very simple, it does require good quality ingredients.

1/2 lime
1 1/2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons superfine sugar, to taste
2 ounces cachaça
Lime wheel, for garnish

Steps to Make It

Gather the ingredients.
Cut half of a lime into small wedges.
Place the lime and sugar into an old-fashioned glass and muddle well.
Top the drink with cachaça and stir well.
Fill the glass with small ice cubes or cracked ice, stir again, and garnish with a lime wheel. Serve and enjoy.
